Accessibility

Our aim

We build toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. That is a target we work to rather than a certification we hold.

What is in place

• A “skip to content” link as the first item on every page
• Descriptive alternative text on every image
• Every form field has a visible, properly associated label
• Full keyboard operation, including the model-to-final comparison slider (arrow keys, Home and End) and the material option selectors
• Visible focus outlines that are never removed
• Text and interface colours checked for contrast against their backgrounds
• Films are click-to-play, never autoplaying with sound; background loops are silent and decorative
• Motion and animation are reduced automatically if your system requests it
• The quote panel can be closed with the Escape key and returns focus to where you were
• Content remains readable and usable when zoomed and on small screens

Known limitations

• Our films have no captions or audio description. They contain no speech — only music and ambience — but they are not captioned, and we intend to add descriptive transcripts.
• The drag-to-compare slider is inherently visual. Both images have alt text describing them, but the comparison itself cannot be conveyed non-visually.
